Whether you’re setting up X for your organisation or for your personal brand, your profile will likely be the first thing that people check out when they engage with one of your tweets. It’s important to get your profile set up so that as soon as they land they can see who you are, and why you’d add value to their world if they follow you.

On X, it’s all about the follows! As you get started, you’ll be the person doing all of the following. As you get known, your followers will steadily increase. Make sure that you cross promote all the social media channels that you’re using, and that there’s consistency in naming and branding on every channel.

There are some great benefits to using X. You can get real-time information and there are trends to leverage. It allows you to connect with customers, advocates and influencers and because it’s an open channel, you can follow anyone you like and engage with their posts. X can help you grow your brand and provide timely customer service and you can drive traffic to your website or landing pages.
