YouTube building engagement refers to the process of creating and sharing content that encourages viewers to interact, comment, and subscribe to a channel, in order to increase audience engagement and grow a channel's following
Let's assume that your channel is up and running, hopefully with a few videos on it and at least a couple of subscribers – it’s time to focus on building engagement with your viewers.
This is important for a range of reasons but, primarily, the YouTube algorithm loves engagement and the more people engage with your content, the more people will see it. Simple as that!
There’s a bunch of tactics you can apply, like customising your channel, using end screens and playlists, giving calls to action, adopting the ‘Triple H’ strategy and encouraging engagement by asking questions, prompting discussion and more.
Engaged viewers become loyal subscribers, and loyal subscribers become paying clients or customers and, ultimately, advocates for your brand or business. So … building engagement is not something to skip over or come back to later.
Make building engagement a process for every video you upload and watch those viewers skyrocket.
